How to check services which use ports (Windows)

Steps

1. In a command prompt window, enter the following command to show the process IDs of services that use ports.

netstat -a -o

or

in the the Search Programs and Files box, run:

cmd /k netstat -a -o

2. Open Task Manager, which shows running services and their PIDs. Find PIDs in question and check the corresponding services.
