This is probably the best application to back up your SMS messages for Android. The user interface is simple and very stylish; we love this one very much to be honest. It works by backing up all your SMS messages and email them to your account, not only that, you can assign passwords to protect your messages from intruders such as your girlfriend if you do not want her to know you are having an affair with the old woman down the street.
Another simple application to back up SMS messages, but it goes a step further than the ones mentioned above; it can actually restore your messages back to your phone. Like almost every SMS back up application, this one is also able to send messages to your email address for safekeeping; you can also back up selected conversations if you so wish.
This one is a bit different from the others. It doesn’t send your messages to your email account; instead, it allows you to back up all messages on your PC in .txt word format. You can retrieve messages from an old phone and send it to your Android phone as well, making it quite a versatile application.
